Why Add Windchimes to Your Garden?

Simple wind chimes function better than more complex ones so as to not create imbalance in decor styles. This way they will mix in perfectly wherever they are placed. And remember, the importance of sound is greater than the look when it comes to wind chimes. Often times, the more complex types of wind chimes are not made to produce a clean sound quality, whereas those made of simple aluminum can provide this flawless sound. When creating your wind chime garden, consider hanging them at various heights. For example, place a set of wind chimes up on a deck, one in a smaller tree line and another among your flowers. The sounds will deeply resonate around your garden whenever the wind blows. If the aesthetic aspect to your wind chimes is significant to you, be sure to display them in your line of vision. so you can delight in the reflection of the rising and setting of the sun. Stone decoration, running water (including waterfalls or a birdbaths) and evergreens go well with aluminum wind chime gardens.

Ways to Introduce the Positive Aspects of Feng Shui to Your Garden

Introduce feng shui design to the layout of your yard so it can bring energy into your home.

Size is not the most important factor when incorporating feng shui design to your garden. Of course, a large area is great if you have it, but rest assured that feng shui works just as well in smaller spaces as well.

The primary feng shui tools can be utilized for your interior decor as well as your garden design. In order to understand the energy map, or bagua, of your garden, you will first want to understand your home’s bagua.

There are five elements in feng shui theory, and you should know how to use each of them to intensify the energy.

Feng shui design calls for the Earth element, for example, to be integrated into the northeastern corner of your garden, as that area connects to self-cultivation and personal growth energy. The ideal addition to the northeast corner of your yard might be a peaceful Zen garden decorated with natural stone, as they represent the Earth element in feng shui.

Consider introducing a water feature into these feng shui areas: East (health & family), North (career & path in life), or Southeast (money and abundance).
